The 2020 Florida High School 7v7 Association Membership Drive is off to a record start as earlier this week the 50th high school became members.  Each year since the State Association's inception inn 2015 membership has increased and preliminary numbers indicate that 2020 will be a record season.  2019 saw 93 high schools across Florida participate with the Florida High School 7v7 Association and the goal for 2020 is to break 100 High School 7v7 Teams in Florida.

Traditionally, registration opens in late November with some early birds completing registration prior to the Christmas Holidays.  January is when registration really cranks up and typically continues to stay hot through the month of March and even into early April for those teams looking to get in some extra work before Spring Football in May.  February is also the time that teams start making schedules to play informal contests with other member schools in their respective areas.  Each year more and more schools are opting to play other schools more often prior to Spring Football as the itch to compete and to test offensive and defensive strategies is ever increasing.  2020 has seen even more formal organization with the formation of FHS7v7A Leagues in areas of the state such as Jacksonville and the Nature Coast including Citrus, Marion, Sumter, & Hernando Counties.  The Florida High School 7v7 Association offers Regional League facilitation as a complimentary "benefit" of membership within the Association.  Any schools interested in forming a league in your area, please contact the Florida High School 7v7 Association at 904-402-5428 or info@fhs7v7a.com for more information.

Last but not least, mark your calendars for the 2020 Florida State 7v7 Championship and BattleLines 5v5 Lineman State Championship brought to you by SNAP-RAISE and the FHS7v7A on June 19th & 20th at the Villages Polo Club in the Villages.  Like last year it will be a 7 game guarantee with 5 pool play games being played on Day 1 & 1 pool play game on day 2 along with Single Elimination until the 2020 FHS7v7A State Champion is crowned.  Entry is just $100 for FHS7v7A Member 7v7 teams and $399 for Non Member 7v7 Teams.  Entry for the BattleLines 5v5 Lineman State Championship which will take place on Day 2 of the 7v7 Championship, is $25 for BattleLines Member Teams and $150 for Non Member BattleLines Teams.  Contact the Florida High School 7v7 Association at 904-402-5428 or info@fhs7v7a.com to register today.  #UpGradeYourOFFSEASON
