FHS7v7A CORONAVIRUS UPDATE-June 1, 2020 MONTICELLO, FL- The Florida High School 7v7 Association has monitored the CORONAVIRUS (Covid-19) pandemic closely over the past three months, and have also studied the various leading “Return to Play” protocols produced by various National and State agencies.  In the spirit of safety for our student athletes and coaches across Florida, we are officially suspending all FHS7v7A Sanctioned & Member 7v7 Activities including practices and games statewide until further notice.  This includes cancelling the 2020 Florida High School 7v7 Association State Championship Tournament scheduled for June 19th & 20th at the Villages Polo Club.

It is with careful consideration that we are taking this action for our Association, members, and participants all across Florida.  We have always been and always will be an Association that supports High School Football Programs across Florida making preparations for their Fall seasons.  It is with that in mind that we arrived at this decision.  The last thing we want is any team in Florida to lose a portion of, or their entire Fall football season because members of their roster became infected or exposed to Covid-19 through involvement or participation in Florida High School 7v7 Association activities.  We 100% support high school football in Florida and are praying every day for the health and welfare of our State, it’s citizens, and the opportunity to take the field this Fall.  For continued 7v7 updates, recruiting information, member recruiting profiles, classifieds, combine information, and everything off season, please continue to visit our website at fhs7v7a.com and follow us on twitter @FHS7v7A.

We look forward to serving you again next off season and are committed to making the 2021 Florida High School 7v7 Association & State Championship Tournament the best 7v7 experience for high school football programs in Florida.  Godspeed & #UpGradeYourOFFSEASON
