By FHS7v7A College Link Staff, 03/23/22, 11:30AM EDT

With the 2022 Off season in full swing, we are featuring prospects from across Florida who are actively participating in the Florida High School 7v7 Association Series and are turning heads on the recruiting trail and on the turf.  Each of these prospects are receiving attention from colleges across the country due to their hard work, dedication to their skillcraft, and success with their high schools last Fall on the gridiron and during the off season.  Each featured in this article are scheduled to be on the field this weekend in Orlando at the 2022 Spring Break Challenge 7v7 Tournament powered by USA Elite.   By no means are they the only talented prospects taking the field in Orlando or in the FHS7v7A, and we look forward to continuing to feature top performers from each tournament as well as top prospects across our entire Association.

The Florida High School 7v7 Association and FHS7v7A College Link are committed to helping everyone in our association including players themselves, and their high school coaches who are tirelessly working to get their players in position for the opportunity to play college football at the next level.

Class of 2023

Jabari Smith, WR, 5’11” 170, Jones.  Jabari is a playmaker coming into the 2022 off season after ringing up 64 Receptions for 1044 yards and 7 Touchdowns as a Junior.  He was a 1st Team Offense All State Selection and his receiving yard total led all wide receivers in Class 6A in Florida.  Jabari is a precision route runner who does a great job of positioning himself between the ball & the defender.  Once the ball is caught, his elusive running style and vision in traffic consistently extends plays, giving himself the chance to show off his breakaway speed.  He currently carries a 3.2 GPA in the classroom.

Zechariah Poyser, WR/DB 6’2” 170 , Wildwood.  Zecariah is a impressive big frame wide receiver with big play potential.  He consistently separated himself from defender before and after the catch.  During the season he was successfully able to not only catch the long ball but also able to receive passes on the perimeter and turn them into huge plays.  Zecariah also made a big impact on special teams serving his Wildwood Wildcats as a premier kick returner.  Speed coupled with his height gives this prospect a huge upside for colleges looking to offer.

Jaquez Kindell, WR/ATH 5’11” 165, Tampa Plant.  Jaquez is a playmaker in every sense of the word.  He was awarded MVP at the Plant Football end of the year banquet and that is fitting based on his 32 receptions for 468 yards, 8 TD’s and 5 Kickoff Returns for 237 yards and 1 Touchdown.  At receiver, he is what you would want, great hands, courage across the middle, and he will go up and get the 50/50 ball.  Whether it be at kick returner or receiver, his hard running style extends plays.
