With the 2022 Off season leading up to a conclusion at the Florida High School 7v7 Association, we are featuring prospects from across Florida who are participating in the 2022 Florida High School 7v7 Association State Championship Tournament on June 24th & 25th at the Villages Polo Club and are turning heads on the recruiting trail and on the turf.  Each of these prospects are receiving attention from colleges across the country due to their hard work, dedication to their skillcraft, and success with their high schools last Fall on the gridiron and during the off season.  Each featured in this article are scheduled to be on the field this weekend in The Villages.   By no means are they the only talented prospects taking the field in The Villages or in the FHS7v7A, and we look forward to continuing to feature top performers and top prospects across our entire Association.

Rodney Hill, LB, 5’10”, 205, Flagler Palm Coast. Is a Fast Linebacker That runs sideline to sideline and disrupts plays with incredible speed. Rodney won MVP honors at Under Armour Next football prospect camp Miami. Rodney’s Ability to play with speed led him to 56 tackles 5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.

Jason Duclona, DB/WR, 2023, 6’1, 180, Estero.  Jason Duclona is a dynamic athlete that plays both wide receiver and defensive back for Estero High School. Jason racked up 607 Offensive yards and 6 touchdowns while dominating on defense with 6 Pass deflections and 2 interceptions. Not only does he play both ways for the Estro Wildcats he also plays Basketball and runs Track. Jason is committed to Rutgers University.

Randy Pittman, TE/DE, 2023, 6’2, 230, Mosley.  Randy is a monster of an athlete. Hard to bring down and strong in the blocking game Randy is a new school tight end. Mosley used Randy not only in the passing game with 45 receptions for 534 yards and 4 touchdowns but also in the run game with 42 carries for 170 yards and 17 touchdowns. Offense wasn't his only use Randy also had 4 tackles for loss and two forced fumbles on defense. Randy is Committed to Florida State.

Marcus Stokes, QB, 2023, 6’2, 185, Nease. Marcus is an elite quarterback for Nease High School. His strong arm helped him sling the ball for 2672 yards and 22 touchdowns last season. He played some Quarterback for Vanguard throwing for 1037 yards and 14 touchdowns as well as cornerback where he made 20 tackles and 5 passes defended. Luke Rucker, QB, 2023, 6’3, 200, Sanford Seminole. If you are looking for a quarterback that knows how to run an offense without many mistakes you need to look no further than Luke Rucker. Luke threw for 1835 yards and 26 touchdowns last season with Sanford Seminole and only had 4 interceptions. He is also great in the classroom with a 4.0 GPA. Luke is committed to FAU.

Vernell Brown III, WR/DB, 2025, 5’10, 160, Wildwood. Vernell is a young and extremely talented player. He played Quarterback and Receiver his freshman year. Zy’Marion Lang, WR/QB, 2024, 6’3, 170, Palmetto. Zy’Marion is an explosive Athlete that will out run his competition. While only playing five games last season Zy’Marion was a big part of Palmetto’s offense. He threw the ball for 223 yards and 2 touchdowns, he ran for 29 more yards and 2 touchdowns and additionally had three catches for 111 yards and 1 touchdown. No matter where to play him he is going to be a problem for opposing defenses.
