904-402-5428

Will Dettor is the Co-Founder and Commissioner of Florida High School 7v7 Association. Will currently serves as Head Football Coach at Lake Weir High School in Ocala, Florida. Over his 19 years of Varsity Coaching Experience Will has served 17 of those as a Defensive Coordinator & Assistant Head Coach. Will is a long standing member of the FACA (Florida Athletic Coaches Association). Will originally is from Charlottesville, Virginia where he attended St Annes-Belfield School and then graduated from Florida State University in 2000. In his free time, Will enjoys spending time in the outdoors hunting and fishing.

Will has always had a passion for the sport of 7v7 since he began his High School Coaching Career. He always has believed that it is an important facet of the year round high school football development program. Over the years, he along with many of his peers in the coaching fraternity have seen 7v7 move away from the high schools and into the All star realm. Along with this transformation, has come many negatives including a lack of or reduction in positive influence of athletes by their respective Varsity Coaches because of their restriction to being involved in this type of activity. It has been a mission of his to put this sport back in the hands of the High School coach, and give them an added opportunity to be a positive influence on their own athletes and on the sport of interscholastic football as a whole. Florida High School 7v7 Association is a product of that mission.
